Make it a morning habit

Want to make a new habit stick? Do it when you get up in the morning, says a recent study. Why? Your cortisol, a stress hormone linked to habit-forming, is at its peak at around 7am. Researchers asked 48 university students to adopt a new stretching routine and followed them for 90 days, splitting them into morning and evening stretchers. Those doing in the morning created a habit in a third of the time.
